Caught taking upskirt video on SBS bus, he swallows memory card and smashes the phone
A Malaysian electrician was jailed three months for taking an upskirt video of a woman on a bus and destroying the evidence.
Koo Kiat Boon, 25, was on an SBS bus heading towards the Woodlands Checkpoint on Sept 3 when he saw the victim and found her pretty.
He took out his phone and started to make a video recording but was spotted by another commuter.
When the witness tried to stop him, Koo waved his arms to prevent the man from getting his mobile phone.
When the phone fell onto the ground, Koo squatted down and smashed the phone repeatedly on the ground, damaging it.
He also took out the phone's memory card and put it in his mouth.
When confronted, he said the memory card was a sweet and swallowed it.
By then, other commuters had surrounded him and detained him.
The driver alerted police officers and Koo was arrested.
