COE premiums rise across the board

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums rose across all categories yesterday, with those for motorcycles leading the way.
The premium for two-wheelers closed at $3,501 - 14.75 per cent higher than in February's first bidding exercise.
The COE for cars up to 1,600cc and 97KW closed at $77,201 - a 7.88 per cent increase from $71,564 two weeks ago. Those for cars above 1,600cc or 97KW rose 4.39 per cent to $78,604.
In the Open category, the premium rose 2.59 per cent to $79,000, from $77,003.
Commercial vehicle COEs closed at $52,890 - up 3.7 per cent from $51,002 previously.
