Comic book fan chops off part of his nose to look like Captain America’s enemy, Red Skull

Henry Damon loves one comic book character so much that he decided to turn himself into the character.

Not just with tattoos, but surgically modifying his physical appearance as well.

The 37-year-old Venezuelan had previously added subdermal implants on his forehead as the first step towards looking like comic book super villain Red Skull, who is Captain America's arch-enemy.

The married father, who now calls himself Red Skull, then took even more extreme steps by having part of his nose removed, tattooing his eyeballs black and face red and black to replicate the villain as closely as possible.

His friend Pablo Hernandez said: "He has loved comic books since he was a kid and always dreamed of being Red Skull, but never got round to doing it."

Mr Damon's tattoo and extreme body surgeon Emilio Gonzalez said: "Henry aka Red Skull is a physically and intellectually healthy person.

"He's an excellent son, husband and father, who has an extreme taste for body modification."

He added that Mr Damon is not finished with his transformation yet and has plans to take it further.

"Next will be silicone implants on the cheekbones, chin and cheeks. Then we will tattoo his entire face red and then he will be Red Skull."
