Dad arrested after killing son for working
He didn't want his son to work. But Muhamad Hafiz Abd Ghani, 17, insisted.
An argument broke out. In a fit of anger, the father, 52, allegedly hit the eldest of his 10 children with a wooden club, causing the teen's death.
The man went missing after the tragedy unfolded at their rented house last Saturday.
Fled his home
Malaysian police arrested him on Monday morning.
Alor Gajah Police chief Supt Mohamad Laham told Bernama: "The suspect, who is from Sungai Pelek, Selangor, is being remanded for seven days to assist in the investigation."
The mother, Siti Habibah Ismail, 38, lodged a police report when she found her son motionless. She had tried to wake him up in the morning.
