Police are appealing for the relatives of Mr Tong Ah Chuan to come forward.
The 87-year-old man died on Dec 23 last year at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, stated a police press release on Wednesday.
He was previously staying at Ju Eng Home at Jalan Kayu.
