Former Arsenal star flies home after family robbed at knifepoint
Former England and Arsenal striker Ian Wright flew home from Brazil on Thursday (June 19) to be with his family after they were robbed at knifepoint, reported AFP.
It is understood that four men armed with knives broke into their London home before stealing their personal possessions.
Wright, 50, has been in Brazil working as a World Cup pundit for British broadcast company ITV.
"The suspects are described as four black men aged between 18 and 25, with London accents, wearing dark clothing and hoodies obscuring their faces,” a police spokesman said.
Wright, who is active on Twitter with 12,000 tweet, tweeted a response on June 19.
