Frustrated mum develops app so her kids won't ignore her calls anymore
Parents will love her. But kids will not share the same affection for Sharon Standifird.
Mothers are probably well-acquainted with the frustration and worry that result from kids who ignore their calls.
So Standifird tried to actually do something about it.
The mother of teenage children developed an app.
She said: "We needed to develop an app that just shuts their phone completely down and they can't even use it," she said. So she started research on how to develop an app.
She successfully created an app that kids could no longer ignore... literally.
The Android-only app, called Ignore No More that costs US$1.99 allows the parent to use their own phone to completely lock their child's phone.
And when their child's phone is locked, they will only be able to call their parents or emergency numbers like 911.
Yes kids, this means texting, games, Facebook are out.
So what does Standifird's teenage son have to say about this?
Bradley Standifird (below) said: "Well, I thought it was a good idea, but for other people, not me."
