Help this grieving mother fulfil her birthday wish, if you can
Women dream of the day when they can hold their newborn in their arms.
But for Facebook user Elizabeth Ting, believed to be Malaysian, what was meant to be a breathtaking experience turned into absolute horror.
On her Facebook page, Ms Ting posted a four-minute video on her 38th birthday in July on how she lost daughter Cassandra.
Ms Ting delivered Cassandra after just 31 weeks. It was a case of Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes where a mother's membraned sac holding the baby and the amniotic fluid breaks before one is actually in labour.
In the heart-breaking silent video, Ms Ting said, through writings on sheets of paper, that her "baby's vital signs were good and she was progressing well in Neonatal Intensive-Care Unit until one day...

Ms Ting and her husband were not even allowed to touch the baby because of the strict hospital regulations for incubated babies.
Even though Ms Ting managed to secretly snap two pictures of her little angel, the quality was not good enough.
It left them with almost nothing to remember their daughter by.
So Ms Ting wanted to do something which would capture the daughter's memory for ever.
Hence her plea to Facebook users. She has two simple birthday wishes.
The first appeal is to photoshop-savvy people.
And the second to talented artists.
If you can help Ms Ting, please e-mail her at the following address:
In the meantime, our hearts go out to Ms Ting and her husband.
