Edwin Koo, 36, is an independent documentary photographer. His long-term projects examine the themes of human displacement and homelands, spanning topics such as Tibetans, Nepal's Maoist guerrillas and Pakistan's Swat Valley. He has published a photographic monograph, Paradise, (www.abookcalledparadise.com), which is now available in major bookstores.

Mindy Tan, 33, is one of Singapore's leading wedding photographers. Her images have won international awards and exhibited locally at the National Museum. Formerly a correspondent with The New Paper, Mindy won a Society of Publishers Asia award for human-rights reporting.
