Kids shot, sexually abused by parents
Children as young as one-year-old were subject to rape and BB gun shots by their mothers and a group of men in Pennsylvania.
According to court documents, the alleged abuse against the five children consisted of "being punched, slapped, thrown over a bannister, shot repeatedly with BB guns all over their bodies, some shots leaving marks, scars and causing at least two of the children to bleed," reported the Delaware County Daily Times.
Five adults - Shakia Jackson, 31, Danielle Hammond, 22, Mark Isom, 22, Daryl Carter, 24, William Wade, 23 - have been charged with the alleged physical and sexual abuse of the children, a case involving scenarios that Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan called "outrageous situations."
One of the mothers performed a sexual act on the two-year-old boy and these children were also forced to watch the adults have sex, reported New York Daily News.
The children were subjected to assault, including punches and slaps.
They were also thrown over a banister and shot with the guns.
The one-year-old child belonged to Hammond while the two-year-old and the three other children belonged to Jackson.
All five children were under 12 years old.
The adults abused the five children at a home in Darby, Pennsylvania, a suburb outside of downtown Philadelphia.
Jackson reportedly told police that "she and the other adults were only playing and the children wanted to be shot."
The three men and two women had reportedly been under investigation by authorities since June. They now face a number of charges including corruption of minors, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and simple assault.
