Lesbian teacher had sex with student, 15
She was a physical education (PE) teacher at a posh girls' school.
For a year, Emily Fox gave lessons at the private boarding school in Hertfordshire, England. But it turns out she was also busy with something else.
The 26-year-old has admitted to having sex with a 15-year-old girl she taught, British newspapers reported.
The victim cannot be named for legal reasons.
Fox now faces a prison sentence after pleading guilty to four charges of sexual activity with a child while in a position of trust.
St Albans Crown Court heard how the offences took place between August 2012 and August 2013 at the £25,800-a-year (S$50,500) Royal Masonic School.
Fox was granted conditional bail. She faces a possible jail term when she returns to court next month.
She must also sign the sex offenders register.
Fox, currently living with a relative in Bath, did not speak during the short hearing.
The judge said she could not visit the Royal Masonic School and could not have any contact with anyone under the age of 16.
In public interest to name Fox
While the victim cannot be identified for legal reasons, the judge overturned an order preventing the defendant and the school from being identified, Mail Online reported.
He said: “It is clearly in the public interest to identify the school as well as the defendant. It is, to my knowledge, by no means a small school. I don't see how the identification of the school leads to the identification of the child."
The Royal Masonic School for Girls was founded in 1788 in east London to teach the daughters of Freemasons.
No one at the school was available for comment.
