Made in S'pore kids' bike makes BBC's top 10 list
It hit the local news for its green approach to the balance bike - a bicycle without pedals used to teach children the basics of cycling.
Now, the Singapore-made GreenChamp Original has hit the big time after it made BBC Autos' list of the top 10 most beautiful bicycles.
Heralded as "a triumph of design", the "simply beautiful" GreenChamp left Autos editors wishing they were young again.
The brainchild of Mr Sunny Chuah and Dutchman Daniel Heerkens following a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, the GreenChamp's frame is handcrafted from honey-infused bamboo using the same technology as the full-sized Bamboobee bicycle, which was well-received on the Internet last year.
