Man allegedly dozes off while riding motorcycle, dies in accident
A motorcyclist died in an accident along an expressway in Penang.
He was believed to have dozed off while riding.
According to Metro Ahad, the 47-year-old's motorcycle went out of control and hit a road divider.
The impact of the crash sent the man flying on to the metal rails along the expressway.
The victim died at the scene after sustaining severe injuries to his head and body.
A traffic police spokesman said the man was on his way to deliver snacks to several sundry shops.
He added: "We are not ruling out the possibility that he had dozed off or had experienced a dizzy spell that caused him to lose control of the motorcycle."
