Man arrested after allegedly molesting female on East-West bound train

Police have arrested a 29-year-old man suspected of molesting a female while travelling on an East-West bound train.
The incident took place on Nov 12 at about 6.30pm.
Police arrested the suspect after the victim immediately alerted MRT staff of the incident.
Investigations are still ongoing.
The offence of Outrage of Modesty under the penal code is punishable with an imprisonment term of up to two years and caning.
