Man arrested for stealing diesel from heavy vehicles parked in Jurong

Police have arrested a 43-year-old man for stealing diesel from heavy vehicles parked around Jurong Industrial Estate.
The authorities received several reports of theft of diesel between June and September this year.
Officers conducted extensive enquiries and nabbed the man on Thursday at about 4.30am at International Road.
He had a jerry can and rubber hoses with him. The items were seized.
The man will be charged in court on Friday.
If found guilty, he can be jailed for up to three years and fined.
