Man from China feeds paralysed wife mouth-to-mouth
For the past 11 years, a man from Hubei, China, has been chewing food and feeding its morsels to his paralysed wife by mouth, reported Nanyang Siang Pau.
Mr Zhang Chang Shan's odd approach to feeding his wife, Zhang Shu Xian, started since ever she became paralysed from a stroke in 2003.
Despite doctors giving her just a month to live, the husband, 79, wanted to take her home.
He even picked up Chinese medicine to care for her, though it takes him about three days to remember a specific treatment.
Mr Zhang had also been trying to keep himself in good health by undergoing physical training despite his age.
Though she is unable to speak, she reportedly hums to get her husband's attention.
