Man sets fire to his motorcycle after M'sian woman spurns his advances
It is said that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. But it seems that a scorned man can be just as dangerous.
A man in Malaysia set fire to his motorcycle after a woman spurned his advances.
The bizarre incident happened at 2.20am on Monday at the woman's house at Taman Emas, Penang.
Smashed windows
The 49-year-old man parked his motorcycle outside the gate and threw his helmet at a car parked at the porch, smashing the rear windscreen.
He forced the gate open and smashed the rest of the car’s windows before setting his motorcycle ablaze.
He then grabbed pieces of cardboard, curtains and anything he could get his hands on and threw them into the fire.
Rejected
Another vehicle which was parked beside the car was also damaged during the incident.
The authorities arrested the man and put out the fire.
Sources said the man was frustrated that his love had been rejected by the woman. He allegedly harassed the woman with phone calls before deciding to visit the woman at her house on Monday.
Police investigations are ongoing.
