This article is more than 12 months old

Don't text and walk ... and bump into people.

This man did just that, and was then stabbed in the heart.

The 33-year-old Toronto resident is in critical condition after being stabbed on Wednesday.

According to the National Post, he had bumped into two men while texting on his mobile phone.

CTV reports that the men got into a heated argument, before one man produced a knife and stabbed the victim.

Police said the two men took the incident as a "direct slight against them ... so they attacked the victim".

One suspect, Mohamed Ali, 27, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault. Police are still looking for the other suspect.
