A minute of silence observed all over Singapore

Singapore observed a minute of silence at 4pm on Sunday (March 29) as a mark of respect to Singapore's founding father Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
With 2,200 guests at the University Cultural Centre for Mr Lee's State Funeral service observing the minute of silence, many Singaporeans followed suit islandwide.
The transport sector also observed it.
All MRT trains pulled to a stop at stations and opened their doors. Buses also departed from bus interchanges and terminals later than usual as a mark of respect.
Staff at Changi Airport also observed the minute of silence.
