M'sia: Four teachers arrested over exam paper leaks
Two later released on bail
Four teachers were arrested on Sunday (Sept 15) in connection with the leaking of both the Science and English Primary School Achievement Test papers.
The nation-wide exam is commonly known as the UPSR.
Two of the teachers were later released on bail - after police recorded their statements were recorded, The Star Online reported.
The four, all primary school teachers, were detained after a series of raids conducted on Saturday (Sept 13) afternoon.
Police recorded statements from 10 individuals.
Among those questioned: Six officers from the Malaysian Examinations Syndicate - the agency in charge of running the examinations - plus three primary school teachers and one journalist.
The raids were conducted after a series of online leaks forced the Education Ministry to announce that affected students have to re-take the papers on Sept 30.
