In a shocking development to an already shocking story, Malaysian police investigations suggest that a man accused of raping his 12-year-old stepdaughter for nearly a year had also sodomised his four-year-old son.

The revelation came from the boy himself after he realised that what his father, who is 34 years old and unemployed, had been doing was a crime, reported The Star.

“The boy had asked his mother where his father was and she explained that he was arrested by police for allegedly sexually abusing his stepsister," said Ampang Jaya OCPD ACP Khairuldin Saad.

"That’s when the boy revealed what the man had done to him.”

Doctors confirm sodomy occurred

Doctors confirmed that the boy had been sodomised and that the man's two other children were not abused.

The man is expected to be charged in court today (Friday, Dec 19) for carnal intercourse against the order of nature under Section 377C of the Penal Code. He faces up to 20 years' in jail and whipping.

He was arrested at his home in Kampung Cheras Baru, in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, on Dec 13 after the stepdaughter told her mother that she had been raped twice a week.

The mother packed her belongings and took her four children to live with relatives. The couple has three children together from 10 years of marriage. The girl was a child from the mother’s previous marriage.

The girl said that the rapes occurred either in his or her bedrooms.

The rapes took place whenever the mother was out working and the girl's siblings were playing outside.

“She can’t remember how many times he has done it to her. She told us that it has happened too many times - maybe even twice a week,” said ACP Khairuldin.
