New York bans tiger selfies after dangerous spike in trend
There are selfies, then there are tiger selfies.
It has been a tactic that American men have used to attract their potential partners on match-making site Tinder, especially in the US.
The trend has really caught fire even leading to the creation of an Instagram account titled Tinder Guys With Tigers.

A new law was signed earlier this week "prohibiting direct contact between members of the public and big cats at traveling animal shows and fairs".
It is now against the law to pose for photos with a tiger, lion or other big cats, ABC News reported.

Looks like these guys need a new way to get a thumbs up from their potential leading ladies.
