One of the masked men who robbed money changer of $600,000 arrested
A man has been arrested for the Aljunied robbery on Wednesday in which a money changer lost more than $600,000 in cash.
He man will be charged in court on Saturday (Nov 8) in connection with the crime.
TNP reported on Thursday that a money changer was waiting in his car with his son in the back seat at around 1am at Block 110 Aljunied Crescent when the robbers struck.
A vehicle pulled up in front of the money changer and three men in ski masks jumped out.
After a struggle, the trio made away with more than $600,000 in cash that had been in the car boot.
The money changer reportedly runs currency exchange outlets in Changi Airport and was transporting the cash home.
