One of the waitresses who escaped Sydney cafe is a sportswoman

One of the five hostages to have fled the Lindt cafe siege is a Sydney university student and talented sportswoman, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Ms Elly Chen is one of the two female workers to flee from the cafe at about 5pm Sydney time (2pm, Singapore time) on Monday.
According to Ms Chen’s Facebook page, she has been a student of the University of New South Wales since 2011.
Her LinkedIn profile lists her as studying for a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science and Finance.
It says she was a national swimming representative and a state tennis representative.
