Warmer, drier weather in coming days
The first fortnight of this month is expected to be warmer and drier, the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said yesterday.
But thundery showers are still expected on some days.
The daily maximum temperature was likely to range between 33 deg C and 34 deg C, and could go up to around 35 deg C.
Short thundery showers are forecast to occur in the late morning and early afternoon on four to five days. Thundery showers with gusty winds are also likely on one to two days in the pre-dawn and morning.
Rainfall is expected to be slightly below normal.
Singapore experienced several warm days in the first half of last month, but the second half of July was cooler and wetter.
