Police arrest man at Jalan Bukit Merah for stealing motorcycle

Police arrested a 24-year-old man in the wee hours of Tuesday for stealing a motorcycle.
Officers were patrolling Jalan Bukit Merah when they spotted a man on a motorcycle behaving suspiciously at around 2.20am, stated a police press release.
They conducted a check on the man and found that he did not have a valid driving licence on him.
The man was unable to prove that he was the owner the bike.
He was arrested and will be charged in court on Wednesday (Oct 29) with stealing a motorcycle.
If found guilty of the offence, he can be jailed for up to seven years and fined.
