PASSIONATE: A fan screaming for Song at City Square Mall yesterday evening.
He may be coy about having to strip for his movie Obsessed, but fans are excited about seeing South Korean actor Song Seung Heon in the buff.
At least according to some of the 1,000 fans who showed up at his fan meet-and-greet session at City Square Mall yesterday evening.
Lucky fan Mindy Seng, who was chosen to go up on stage to meet Song up close, told The New Paper: "I'm very excited and a little shy to know that he appears fully naked in his new movie."
The 21-year-old student, who had the rare opportunity to hug him and shake his hand, added: "I'm so thrilled that I had the chance to go on stage."
Another fan, Ms Jasmine Kang, 40, also felt the same.
The customer service officer has been a fan of Song since she saw him act in the Korean drama Autumn In My Heart more than a decade ago.
She said: "I'm excited about seeing him naked in his new movie because it's something very different from what he had done before."
Even though Song made only a brief 15-minute appearance at the mall, he charmed the fans with his intense gaze and made the effort to wave to all of them on the first and second storeys.
Fan Chew Jia Xin may be too young to catch the R21 film, but the thought of him naked with another actress made her "very jealous".
The 19-year-old student said: "But it's his job and he had to do it. He's simply being professional."
