Restaurant owner's brilliant response to customer's request for waitresses to show more skin
A restaurant owner in West Virginia knew he had to do something when a customer posted a review on his restaurant, Atomic Grill, requesting that waitresses show more skin.
Mr Daniel McCawley said that he felt upset after he read the review, which has now been deleted, on UrbanSpoon, a restaurant guide and review site.
"It was brutish. I was upset. I'm a father of a 12-year-old girl and I've got five sisters," said Mr McCawley.
"The way that women are treated is pretty personal as far as I'm concerned."
He added: "We took offense to the review and wanted to flip it in a positive way."
So he responded.
But with a single photo of exactly what the customer wanted - more skin. Potato skin, that is.
He posted a photo on the restaurant's Facebook page of a sumptuous looking potato skin dish that he offered for $7. The caption? "Skins!!"
All proceeds of the dish will go to the West Virginia Foundation for Rape Information Services.
Who's up for more skin?
