Sabah man kills boy, 3, because he was too noisy
He was irritated by children playing noisily outside his house.
So a Sabah man allegedly abducted three-year-old Shahriqal Sidek - and slapped him to death.
The boy's family had reported him missing on Friday (Nov 21). His body was later found dumped in a stream, newspaper The Star reported.
Police recovered the body yesterday afternoon, after they arrested the boy’s neighbour, a 30-year-old self-employed man.
Slapped boy several times, who then died
Beaufort police chief Deputy Supt Mustaffa Maarof Mustaffa said: “The suspect told us that he was irritated by the children playing around the neighbourhood.
“He claimed that he had taken the boy in his car and slapped him several times, and the boy died.”
The neighbour reportedly had an argument with Shahriqal’s father recently.
Police are still questioning the neighbour, who sometimes works as a driver.
He is married with a child and his wife is expecting.
Police have classified the case as murder.
