She offers before stealing sex
Want to have sex with us?
It was an offer he could not resist - sex with two women for $50.
But he ended up losing his mobile phone and money to the women.
Yesterday, one of them, Nurul Bayah Abdullah, 24, was jailed for two months.
The waitress, who had pulled similar stunts with two other men, pleaded guilty to three counts of theft. A fourth theft charge was taken into consideration during sentencing.
The court heard that she had hatched a plan with Ang Hui Ying, 31, to lure a man with the promise of sex before stealing from him.
At about 4am on Sept 5 last year, a construction site supervisor approached the women at Desker Road.
Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) Sheryl Janet George said that the two women agreed to have sex with him for $50 and the trio checked into a room at Royal India Hotel at nearby Syed Alwi Road.
While Ang, who is jobless, was taking a shower with their client, Nurul Bayah helped herself to his Samsung Galaxy S3 mobile phone valued at $350 and $150 in cash before fleeing.
The man later discovered his valuables missing. He quickly left the hotel and informed the police.
ARRESTED
The women were arrested on the same day after selling the mobile phone for $180 in Geylang.
While out on bail on Dec 6 last year, Nurul Bayah agreed to have sex with a storekeeper for $200 at Lorong 22, Geylang.
After they checked into a room in Min Wah Hotel on the same street, she offered him white pills which she claimed could make him more potent.
These were actually sleeping pills and the man consumed at least five of them before having sex with her.
After he fell asleep, she fled with his Samsung Galaxy Note and wallet. DPP George said that she later sold the phone.
Six days later, Nurul Bayah agreed to have sex with an elderly man for $50 in a room at Jalan Molek, off Lorong 24, Geylang.
After the man fell asleep, she left with some of his belongings, including his iPhone 4s valued at $528 and bank cards.
The next day, she and her boyfriend sold the phone for $20.
The case involving Ang is still pending.
