Shocked hawker slashes nude wife and lover
Apparently all the char kway teow seller wanted was to get home in time to catch the World Cup match between Brazil and Mexico.
Instead he caught his 32-year-old wife in bed with his 19-year-old assistant naked in a room, reported The Star.
The 28-year-old man went berserk and slashed both of them in the incident that happened in Alor Setar, Kedah at about 2am on Wednesday (June 18).
The lover had his left hand almost severed and had to undergo immediate surgery. He also suffered a broken leg.
The wife was also rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The suspect turned himself in and police say he had been remanded.
