Singapore mum gets 10 years jail for killing son

Rebecca Loh, 32, was jailed 10 years in the High Court today after pleading guilty to killing her son, Gabriel, nine, on June 1 last year.
She had pushed him off their fifth storey kitchen window at Block 704 West Coast Road.
Loh was suffering from post-schizophrenic depression when she committed the offence.
She was jobless and worried about caring for her son, who was a special needs child.
Loh was convicted of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
