3 new PAP candidates confirmed for Bishan-Toa Payoh

As kopi o was being ordered in the background at the Bee Hwa Yun coffee shop on Wednesday morning, three new candidates from the People's Action Party (PAP) were confirmed as part of the party's Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC team. 

They are: Mr Chee Hong Tat, Mr Chong Kee Hiong and Mr Saktiandi Supaat. 

They replace former minister Wong Kan Seng, Mr Zainudin Nordin and Mr Hri Kumar Nair in the five-member GRC.

Dr Ng Eng Hen and Mrs Josephine Teo remain in the Bishan-Toa Payoh team.

The Singapore Progressive Party (SPP) and Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) have announced their intentions to jointly contest the ward.
