This article is more than 12 months old

Ferry services between Singapore and Batam have resumed after a 90-minute disruption due to the haze on Friday (Oct 23).

The Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC) announced that the Batam port master had lifted a suspension of ferry services between the two islands at 5.15pm.

The halt on ferry services was initially called at 3.40pm before services from HarbourFront to Batam Centre were stopped at 4.50pm.

SCC advised passengers to check with operators for the latest schedules.

The 3-hour PSI reading at 4pm hit the unhealthy range at 205 and had climbed to 232 by 7pm.
