This article is more than 12 months old

Five people were injured when two cars collided at the junction of Alexandra Road and Depot Road at around 6.30am yesterday.

Stomp user Tina shared photos of the accident on the citizen journalism website, showing the two badly damaged vehicles. (See photos above.)

"The black car was travelling on Alexandra Road towards Pasir Panjang," said the Stomp user.

"The white car was turning right from Alexandra Road into Depot Road.

"There were two kids, one elderly (person) and a 30-year-old man in the black Lancer. I think a couple were in the white car."

In response to queries, a police spokesperson told Stomp that five people were taken to the National University Hospital. All were conscious.
