Second woman in Simei condo row charged
The second of two sisters who caused a ruckus at the management office of Simei Green Condominium was charged in court on Thursday (May 28) with two offences.
Tang Bei, 47, who is a Singapore permanent resident and a Chinese national, is accused of voluntarily causing hurt to condominium manager Colvin Quek Choon Kiat, 67, at the condo at Simei Street 4.
The offences were allegedly committed at around 11.40am on April 28.
She allegedly used her hands to hit him on his face and arms, causing bruises and abrasions on his forehead.
Tang is also accused of using criminal force on Mr Quek by spitting at him.
She was offered bail of $10,000 and is represented by lawyer Wilbur Lim. Both sisters will have their pre-trial conference on June 3.
Her twin sister, Tang Lei, was charged with similar offences on May 15.
She will be back in court on June 10.
Video clips of the alleged offences had been uploaded online and went viral.
