This article is more than 12 months old

Fridays will no longer be known as just TGIF but also as FFF from now on.

POSB launched the Fare Free Friday, where commuters with thePOSB Everyday Credit Card or the PAssion POSB Debit Card will be able to travel on buses and trains for free.

The scheme will start this Friday (July 31) and last all the way to the end of 2015. That's at least 22 days of free travel.

To enjoy this service, all commuters have to do is to link their cards with EZ-Reload, EZ-Link's service where your card is automatically topped-up with value.

Commuters will have to apply though EZ-Link's website here

The first 100,000 cardholders who do so will get to enjoy free travels.

POSB said 50,000 commuters have already signed up with EZ-Reload.

Commuters will get a full refund on the amount that they spend on commuting every Friday.

POSB estimates that commuters will be able to save up to $15 a month on their public transport usage.

So get tapping!
