Train services disrupted after passenger's leg gets stuck in platform gap

Train services on the North-East Line towards HarbourFront were disrupted on Thursday (May 14) after a woman's leg got stuck in the platform gap. 

A spokesman from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told The New Paper they received a call at about 8.10am requesting for help at Boon Keng Station. The woman, in her 40s, was freed by SCDF personnel using hydraulic tools. 

She was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
