Tributes pour in after sudden death of Suria actor, 34

The local Malay entertainment scene was rocked by the news of the sudden death of Singaporean actor Ashmi Roslan.

Suria announced the death of 34-year-old actor in a statement released on their Facebook page on Wednesday night (June 10).

Ashmi first shot to fame in local talent show Anugerah Skrin in 2006 and features in ongoing Suria drama Jalan Ampas.

Other reports state he may have suffered from a heart attack.

The pair met on the set of drama Bingit, and had talked about getting married soon.
