Residents of Blocks 1 and 2, Kitchener Road, were plunged into darkness at about 10.50pm last night when power failed in the area for about an hour.

Singapore Power said electricity supply to the two blocks was disrupted and 389 customers were affected.

Residents told The New Paper that the power came back on at around 11.40pm for less than a minute before it was cut again. It was fully restored 10 minutes later.
