Huge jam after crane hits ceiling at CTE tunnel entrance

A crane struck the ceiling of the Central Expressway (CTE) tunnel yesterday afternoon.
The accident, which happened at the slip road of Upper Cross Street, caused the entrance of the CTE tunnel towards Seletar Expressway to be closed off. The closure caused a traffic jam, with vehicles snaking back along Havelock Road. The Straits Times understands that no one was injured, and no vehicle other than the crane itself was damaged. - THE STRAITS TIMES
