Maids get a taste of Chinese New Year

About 300 foreign domestic helpers from Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Myanmar and Sri Lanka gathered for Lunar New Year festivities organised by the Foreign Domestic Worker Association for Social Support and Training at its clubhouse in Jalan Bukit Merah yesterday. The purpose of the event was to educate domestic workers on the different traditions in multi-cultural Singapore.
