New trains approaching

The first of 12 new trains for the North-South and East-West Lines was delivered to Singapore yesterday at Jurong Port.
The remaining trains will progressively arrive from now until the end of next year. The trains will undergo further testing before they are put into passenger service to improve waiting time on the two lines. They are expected to be put into service in the second half of next year.
