Developed by Dr Mohan Rajesh Elara and his team at Singapore University of Technology and Design, the Vector Surveillance Robot with Mecanum wheels is a drain-inspection robot designed to move in narrow drains under housing estates. It detects stagnant water and mosquito breeding, andis operated remotely via a mobile app, with plans of an autonomous mode.
