Termination was a genuine error
We refer to Mr K S Chia's letter, "Overcharged, then Internet service terminated" (The New Paper, Jan 4).
We apologise that Mr Chia's service requests were not processed according to his instructions.
This was a genuine error and we are reviewing our processes to ensure this will not happen again.
We have since restored his broadband service and adjusted the billing charges.
We are also in touch with Mr Chia to resolve his Wi-Fi device connectivity issues.
We thank him for his patience.
