Korean student Sohee hopes to open her own online fashion shop in five years and a physical store in 10 years. But for now, modelling is what she's into. In fact, she was a Top 30 contestant on the fourth season of reality TV modelling series Korea's Next Top Model in 2013.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Do not worry, you are doing good. Keep going ahead in whatever you do.
If you could travel anywhere in the world for free, where would you go and why?
I would like to go to Switzerland because there's amazing natural landscapes.
I really want to do paragliding and go on a train trip.
Who do you look up to for style tips?
Honestly, I don't designate one person for that. I like to try various styles so I refer to and look up to celebrities, friends and designers.
Where is your favourite place to go to in Singapore and why?
In the morning, I like to go to the Singapore Botanic Gardens because it is near my house and that place makes me feel comfortable. At night, I like to go to Raffles Place because I can see an awesome night view.
What do you hope to gain out of New Face 2016?
I hope I can book more modelling jobs here in Singapore. For example, for advertisements and especially fashion magazine shoots, and I also hope to appear on fashion collection shows here. I hope through this experience, future clients will be able to know more about me and my unique style.
