Slit in fence near two AMK bus depots
A fence next to SMRT's Ang Mo Kio bus depot was found cut on Thursday night.
The slit appeared to be large enough for a person to enter.
The fence covered a grass verge between the perimeter fences of SMRT's bus depot and the adjacent SBS Transit's bus depot in Ang Mo Kio, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said in a statement.
There was no unauthorised entry into the depots, said LTA.
Police said they received a call requesting assistance at 8.10pm on Thursday. Upon arrival, it was established that a case of mischief had occurred, the police said.
The fence had been mended when The Straits Times visited the scene at 8am on Friday.
Graffiti was found on an SMRT train at the Bishan depot on Saturday.
