Some bus and train services to end later

Trains and selected bus services will run later on two Saturdays during the festive season, SMRT said yesterday.

The two Saturdays are Jan 31, which is the Chinatown Chinese New Year light-up ceremony, and Feb 14. On those days, the last trains on the North-South and East-West Lines in both directions will leave City Hall MRT station at 12.30am.

For the Circle Line, the last train towards HarbourFront MRT station will leave Dhoby Ghaut MRT station at 11.55pm, while the last train towards Dhoby Ghaut will leave HarbourFront at 11.30pm.

Selected bus services will leave five interchanges at later hours.

On Jan 31, from 2pm to 11pm, bus services 61, 190, 851, 961 and 970 will be diverted, skipping nine stops along Outram Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, New Bridge Road and Upper Cross Street.
