S'pore police arrest man for stealing vehicle from Serangoon carpark

Police arrested a 30-year-old man on Thursday for stealing a motor vehicle.
A man reported his vehicle stolen from a carpark near Serangoon Avenue 4 last Saturday (Oct 18), stated a police press release on Friday.
The vehicle was recovered later that day at Jalan Teck Kee, off Yio Chu Kang Road.
Officers conducted investigations and identified a suspect through footage from police cameras in the area.
The suspect was arrested on Thursday at 7.30am near Serangoon Avenue 4.
He will be charged in court on Monday with the theft of a motor vehicle.
If found guilty, he can be jailed for up to seven years and fined.
