Is Taylor Swift feuding with Katy Perry? Here's what they say
Are Taylor Swift and Katy Perry in a celebrity feud?
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine released earlier this week, Swift talked about a song 'Bad Blood' that was inspired by an unidentified frenemy.
The song, from upcoming album 1989, is about a female artiste who "tried to sabotage an entire arena tour".
Swift said: "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"
Swift added that the artiste had "tried to hire a bunch of people out from under (her)" and that made her think: "Oh, we're just straight-up enemies."
Many people online quickly guessed she was talking about Katy Perry, who also dated Swift's ex John Mayer.
According to some reports, three of Swift's dancers left in the middle of her Red tour for Perry's Prism tour.
And if anyone is looking for any confirmation from either star, Perry's cryptic tweet is the closest thing you are going to get.
Regina George, played by Rachel McAdams, is one of the characters in cult film Mean Girls.
Who's up for round 2?
